BTS Backend Manager 2.5™ was site interface system that was used to update dynamic websites developed by BTS.   This product is no longer in development and most customers have ported their sites to other CMS solutions.  This page is provided for informational use only. 

• Update your site through a web browser: Site modifications can be made from anywhere there is access to a web browser and internet connection. Content can be added or removed from the site and will instantly be changed.
  
• WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) Editing:  The newest version of BTS-BMA incorporates a rich text editor so you can add bold, italics and other text formatting to your content. 
  
• Image File Uploading and Linking:  Image files can be uploaded through the BMA interface and then linked within content using the rich text editor. 
  
• User Account Creation and Removal:  User accounts can be added or removed from the system by anyone with administrative privileges. 
  
• Content Organization: Content can be organized into various content types which makes for easier site navigation. System allows for a Main Topic, Sub Topic, and Category organization structure.
  
• Content Availablity Control: Content can made unavailable to the user but still be maintained in the database. This allows for temporary removal content which can be made available again in the future. This feature is also convenient for preparing content to be made available at a later time. For example, a press release could be entered into the backend and left unavailable. When it became public knowledge it could be activated for the world to see.
  
• User Form Generation: The system allows for generation of user input forms without writing code. Forms can insert data into a database, send an email or both. This is convenient for User Surveys, Support Forms, or request for service forms. If the form is created as a database form, data entered can be viewed in the backend. The contact form on this site was generated with BTS Backend Manager™.
  
• Dedicated Server is not required: BMA is written entirely in ASP and requires no custom server components, this system will run on a shared host*.
  
• New improved user interface for version 2.5 !

* Host must allow for Access or Microsoft SQL 2000 databases, and image upload utility.
